Our wish list for the future includes the following:

• Facilitate additional lighting on the walkway between Margate Beach and the Pier and in the Margate CBD.
• Improve lighting in the top tier of the old library parking area and security for medium and long-term parking.
• Upgrade and secure the parking area adjacent to the Absa Bank.
• A Welcome Wall and Fountain feature near Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow at the entrance of Margate.
• Upgrading the Tidal Pool Beach by renovating the toilets, pool walls and stairway down to the beach and installing thatched umbrellas and benches.
• Investigating the erection of Public Paid Toilets in the center of town.
